Landesgartenschau 2010 (National Horticultural Show) in North Rhine-Westphalia
From April 17 - October 24, 2010 the City of Hemer in the beautiful Sauerland region will host the Landesgartenschau. 400 million years ago, nature carved out the "Felsenmeer" ("sea of rock"). Located near the Felsenmeer are the old Bundeswehr barracks. Both these spaces are now being transformed into amazing flowering gardens and pavillions that will offer cultural events and displays.
