German Ambassador Jens Ploetner recently visited the German company KRAMSKI Lanka Pvt Ltd in Katunayake. Kramski, present in Sri Lanka since 17 years is specialised in the production of high precision components for stamping dies and molds for the European market.
As a component supplier Kramski counts prestigious brands such as Volkswagen, Mercedes or Bosh among its clients. At the occasion of the Ambassadors visit, Kramski Lanka was awarded the certificate to conduct advance training courses in precision tool making and stamping dies.
Ploetner: "It is no coincidence that it is a German company to be the first entreprise island-wide to receive this prestiguous certificat. Although Kramski itself employs 6 of its own trainees every year, the company at its own expenses trains 12 young men and women. This is to the benefit of the Sri Lankan ecomomy as a whole and a substantial contribution to giving the youth of this country a good start in theirt professional life."
